There are less than two weeks to go until the 26/27 EFL Sky Bet League One fixtures are released.
Take a look at the key dates for your diary:
- The 26/27 season opens with the Carabao Cup first round on the weekend of the 7-9 August.
- The opening weekend of the EFL takes place on August 14-16.
- The Vertu Trophy action gets underway in September, with matches starting in the week commencing September 21.
- The first round of the Emirates FA Cup is scheduled for the weekend of November 7.
Fixture Release Day
This year's Fixture Release Day takes place on Thursday, June 25, with the fixtures released at 12pm over the club website and social media channels.
The Carabao Cup and Vertu Trophy draws are to take place on fixture release day, with full details to be confirmed.
Broadcast Selections
The opening weekend of EFL fixtures across the Championship, League One and League Two will be live on Sky Sports and Sky Sports+ and confirmed on EFL fixture release day.
By 2nd July 2026, selections will be announced in respect of all live broadcast matches to be played before the end of September 2026.
By 31st July 2026, selections will be confirmed in respect of all live broadcast matches to be played up to, and including, the weekend of 8th-11th January 2027.
By 6th November 2026, selections shall be announced in respect of all matches to be played up to, and including, the midweek of 2nd-3rd March 2027.
Selections for matches scheduled for the weekend of 5th-8th March 2027 will be announced by 5th February 2027, followed by weekly announcements looking four weeks ahead. (For example, the weekend of 12th-15th March 2027 will be announced by Friday 12th February 2027).
Selections for matches scheduled for the penultimate weekend of the regular season will be announced three weeks in advance. Selections for matches scheduled for the final weekend of the regular season will be announced the week prior.
