Right-back given Grecians' monthly gong
City supporters have voted Grecians right-back Christian Ribeiro as the Cash Converters Player of the Month for October 2014.The defender, who joined in the summer from Scunthorpe, has settled well with the Grecians and netted his first goal in City colours, albeit a consolation against Hartlepool United in a 2-1 home defeat. He also stood out in a 2-0 win at Morecambe, being involved in the game's opening goal, and put in the cross for Arron Davies' headed winner in the final minute on the opening fixture of the month at Dagenham & Redbridge.
Jon, assistant manager at the Cash Converters store on Sidwell Street, presented the award to Christian against our home game against Luton. Also present was City fan Jason Harcourt, who won a £50 Cash Converters voucher to spend at the Sidwell Street store by voting for winner Ribeiro.
