Men's first team manager Gary Caldwell and women's first team joint-managers Abbie Britton and Aaron Wakley have sat down together at the Cliff Hill Training Ground to preview this weekend's double header at SJP.
City men will take on Bolton Wanderers on Saturday in a crucial League One fixture, before Sunday sees City women look to maintain their spot at the top of the table against Maidenhead on Sunday.
Starting with Caldwell, he believes there are some good points from last weekend's defeat to Peterborough that can be taken into Saturday.
"We go into every game to win and to be competitive but we have to understand who we are up against," Gary said.
"For us to go to Peterborough and go toe-to-toe with them and be really aggressive in and out possession, that was a really big step forward for us. We ultimately didn;t get the result, but we need to take these things in to the weekend against a very good side in Bolton.
"Bolton have consistently been up there in League One and are a team that has been built over four of five years. I haven't looked back at the game from earlier in the season [7-0] defeat, but we have to learn lessons from that and know that is an opportunity not for revenge, but to put things right.
"We are a different group now."
Britton and Wakley's women are flying high at the top of the leagye and are relishing another match at SJP, with all eyes on three points that would be a huge step towards the golden target of the league title at the end of the season.
"It always means a lot to play at SJP," Britton began.
"Fortunately we have always had positive results there since we have been involved which certainly helps, and we are looking forward to a great game and hopefully another three points.
"There is till a lot of football to be played and we have seven more cup finals, as we call them. We know we have to win every game and score lots of goals, last year proved that.
"The biggest thing we ask the girls is to perform consistantly."
"Every game is preapred for the same," Wakley added.
"The girls are well up for it but they are grounded and confident going into it in front of 2,500 fans. It's exactly the same, just in a different venue for us. The girls are such a good, strong group and it's extremely hard to pick a team. It keeps everyone on their toes knowing they have to perform to a high level to get a spot on the team."
