Having put pen-to-paper and signing a contract extension, Ed James looks ahead to Saturday's clash with Stockport County at St James Park.
Four points and five goals in games against Doncaster Rovers and Plymouth Argyle has bred confidence amongst Ed James and his Exeter City teammates; "We're feeling positive at the minute off the back of two good results. We feel as though there's a bit of momentum that we're carrying right now so we're excited going into the weekend."
The Grecians ended the 15-game winless run in style with a 3-0 demolition of Doncaster Rovers two weeks ago, with Ed believing it would only be a matter of time; "I think it had been coming. In that run a lot of the games that we had lost, there had still been good performances so it was only a matter of time before we started to get that first win and begin picking up more points."
City now face playoff-contenders Stockport County, with Ed under no illusions regarding the threats they possess. "Stockport are a really good team, we know the quality that they have. It's not going to be an easy game but we feel we've come up with a plan that'll give us the best chance of getting three points which we really need right now."
