Gary Caldwell has given his thoughts ahead of the Grecians trip to Northampton Town on Saturday as they look to build on Tuesday's 1-0 away victory at Wycombe.
The late own goal after good work from Ethan Brierley and Ilmari Niskanen saw City pick up their first away win of the season, and they will now be looking to make it two from two. Though Caldwell expects a tough test against a side yet to win in the league this season.
"A team that hasn't won yet are always a dangerous one because they want to get that first win on the board," he said.
"Their performances have actually been better than their results and Tuesday night was a really good taste of that because they dominated [against Lincoln, 0-1 defeat)] but just couldn't score. So we know they will be a wounded animal and want to get that first win.
"We have to be ready, similar to Tuesday, competitive and we definitely have to better than that and cause them more problems that they caused us."
