Exeter City goalkeeper Jack Bycroft has given his thoughts ahead of City kicking off their Vertu Trophy campaign against Cardiff City on Tuesday night.
Jack, who joined the Grecians in the summer transfer window could be in line to make his debut first team City appearance for the 7pm kick-off against the Bluebirds.
Speaking ahead of the match, Jack said: "They've started the league campaign very well, coming down from the league above so it'd be a tough game for sure regardless of who they put out. They will play front foot attacking football and hopefully we can match that up and get right after them.
"We will put out a strong team tomorrow and whoever we play I think we go into the game wanting to win regardless of who it is. If we play you know a U21s team or a League One or a League Two team - we go out to win every game."
When asked how he has settled into life in Devon, Jack said: "I'm really enjoying it. We've got a great group of lads and a clear picture from the club and a good group of staff. I've been down here pretty much from the start. It's a beautiful place to live and nice and quiet, which is what I like."
