Following City's final day of the season defeat to Mansfield Town, Kevin McDonald gave his reaction.
Despite the two teams being matched in terms of chances, it was Mansfield who made their's count at the One Call Stadium.
"When it comes to the end of the season where two teams have nothing to play for you can fall into the mentality of a pre-season game," said Kevin.
"Unfortunately that's the way both of us were at times, on another day we could've scored four goals.
"The results not good enough, we'll never hide behind a result like that, unfortunately it's happened too many times this season at crucial points in the season. We've secured League One for another season though, that's the positive."
